  • About This Site

Camera Obscura was created to serve as a place to share pictures I create. Unless other wise state, all the pictures posted on Camera Obscura are created 100% by me[jannette]. Feel free to express your thoughts on any picture. If you choose to use my work please give credit where it is due and link back to this site.

In regards to the names given to the images, they may sound funny and not make sense. This is because I usually name them to what ever song I am listening to when I create them. As for the name of this blog, Camera Obscura:

The Definition of camera obscura: a darkened boxlike device in which images of external objects, received through an aperture, as with a convex lens, are exhibited in their natural colors on a surface arranged to receive them: used for sketching, exhibition purposes, etc.

I chose this phrase because I liked the sound of it, and I think it fits perfectly since it deals with pictures and perception.

Thank You,

  • About the Creator

LOS ANGELES, Ca.– I am an 18 year old aspiring writer/director. Writing, of all kinds, is my passion. I love to express myself and share my thoughts. Creative writing allows me to release all my pent up emotions with the flow of a pen, or click of a keypad.

Music is my life. Not a day goes by that I don’t listen to music. Along with music, and writing, I have had a life long love affair with movies. I don’t know why, but there’s just something about movies that entrance me. I can’t help it.

Personality– I am a hugely sarcastic, partially neurotic, slightly paranoid, insomniac. No really, I am. But don’t worry, I’m worth the trouble. ;)
